LIUNA North Dakota backs Crestwood gas plant expansion

The Williston Herald reports on a proposal by Arrow Field Services, an affiliate of Houston-based Crestwood Midstream to boost the capacity of the company’s McKenzie County gas processing plant by 120 million cubic feet per day.

LIUNA member Evan Whiteford testified in favor of the project in Watford City before the North Dakota Public Service Commission:

This infrastructure is a significant need. Whether it be gas pipelines or gas processing facilities. As we develop the oilfield, we have more need for these things.

Whiteford also explained to Commissioners what LIUNA has done to recruit and train North Dakotans workers to build oil and gas facilities in order to maximize the local benefits of infrastructure projects.
